Which Therapy is most Excellent for you?

Cannabis remedies are available in many presentations and can be used in various ways. The most appropriate form of administration for therapeutic cannabis is that which provides an optimal dose with a desired duration and with few undesired side effects. PharmaCielo a Canadian company and its CEO Tony Wile has become a leading supplier of naturally grown and processed, standardized medicinal-grade cannabis oil extracts and related products.

Smoked cannabis:

Cannabis is typically smoked in pipes or joints. When inhaled, CBD, THC, and other compounds are absorbed through the lungs, into the blood, and through the blood-brain barrier. The initial effects of inhaled cannabis usually appear in the first few minutes and gradually disappear after a couple of hours. Smoking is effective in treating acute symptoms that need to be treated promptly, such as spasms of pain, nausea, and vomiting. It is quite easy to calculate the dose of inhalation. If the effects are insufficient after a few minutes, one can smoke a little more until the desired effect is obtained. However, the smoke contains harmful substances that can irritate the lungs.

Vaporizing:

Vaporizing cannabis with a “vape pen” or with another device, offers the same immediate benefits of smoking. But because the vaporizer heats the flowers or cannabis oils without burning them, the active ingredients are inhaled as steam and there is no smoke. This is a healthier alternative to smoking.

Sublingual sprays:

Sublingual sprays are made with cannabis extracts that may be mixed with another substance such as coconut oil. The Cannabis concentrate is applied under the tongue and is quickly absorbed by the oral mucosa. The first effects are usually felt after 5 to 10 minutes. Sublingual sprays are a good option to have a consistent, discrete and punctual dosage for cannabis. It does not involve any type of preparation and does not leave the smell of smoke.

Capsules and Pearls:

The cannabis oil can be taken in capsules or similar to those of vitamins or supplements beads. Its effect, duration and dosage are similar to those of edibles.

Cannabis teas:

Cannabis prepared as an infusion includes significant amounts of CBD and THC in its “acidic” crude forms because the heating required making the tea is insufficient for “decarboxylation”, which is the process in which the CBDA becomes CBD and THCA in THC. Cannabis tea is not considered intoxicating because cannabinoid acids do not bind to receptors in the brain. It seems that CBDA and THCA have important therapeutic properties, but there is little research about these compounds.

Juices:

Raw cannabis juice made with a blender will also contain CBDA and THCA, and other non-psychoactive cannabinoids since it does not heat up. It is difficult to achieve a precise dose using this method of administration, but it has potential health benefits.

Cannabis Extract Oils:

Cannabis oils can be taken orally, sublingually or applied topically. Concentrated cannabis oils can be used as an ingredient to vaporize or prepare food. Some Cannabis oils come with an applicator to measure the dose. These oils-dominant in CBD and THC- are very powerful. The time and duration of its effects varies depending on the method of administration.
